Jennifer Mingione is the founder and owner of Feathers And Fleece Farm , is a small-scale breeding operation specializing in hypoallergenic large and small breed dogs. These dogs are not only visually stunning, but also highly socialized and suitable for service and therapy work. The farm is renowned for breeding several breeds including Sheepadoodles, Schnoodles, Komondors, and Newfkoms, which are all known for their excellent social skills. Notably, the Newfkom is a non-drooling and non-shedding Newfoundland breed developed by Feathers and Fleece Farm, and the name is trademarked under its ownership.

All the breeding stock at Feathers and Fleece Farm undergo rigorous health testing to ensure the finest offspring for their clients. The facility is state-of-the-art and equipped with an onsite veterinarian facility. To train the puppies, Jennifer Mingione employs six full-time trainers and walkers, offering clients three distinct training packages. Since its inception in 1993, the farm has grown from a small six-stall barn to a large breeding operation with four buildings, a staff of 8, and an “A” rating from both the AKC and the state of Indiana plus an A+ rating on BBB.

Jennifer Mingione is a color genetics expert, having spent numerous hours studying the topic, making Feathers and Fleece the top breeder of sheepadoodles. She is also an avid gardener and sold her successful wholesale herb farm business in 2009 to focus solely on her farm and dogs.
